Description
This is an easy party food recipe always devoured at BOG functions. I have adapted it from a Nigella Lawson Recipe
Ingredients
about 50 Cocktail Sausages,
1 bottle ginger marmalade
1/2 cup wholegrain mustard
about 2 tablesp soy sauce
Method
Step 1
Mix all ingredients together and place in a snaplock bag.
Step 2
Seal bag and squish around to coat all sausages in mixture.
Step 3
Place bag on a plate or bowl ...(to catch any drips) and put in frig to marinate for between 2 hours and 2 days maximum.
Step 4
There are two ways to cook -

Place in a well greased disposable foil tray (no washing up) or in a lined baking dish and bake for approx 30 minutes at 350 deg F.

Remove sausages from sauce and place sausages on baking paper (to avoid a sticky mess) and cook on a very hot BBQ until cooked through. At the same time bring marinade sauce to boil in saucepan on stove and when boiling and sausages cooked mix together and serve.

Either simply serve in a bowl with cocktail sticks to pick them up or

in a hollowed out cob loaf or sourdough bread loaf. (with this latter method you can break off the bread to mop up the sauce afterwards.
